REM-slangIPA ˈrɛmslɑŋ
mv. remslangen
Translation
brake hose
The flexible part of the brake line to a wheel, needed because the wheel moves and steers. Art. 5.2.31 requires that brake hoses are not seriously deformed; if a hose is deformed, the assessment indicated there applies. A bulging or cracked hose lets pressure escape at exactly the moment of hard braking, and that is a fail point at the APK.
