A structure, upholstery included, that seats one adult; it may be a separate seat or the part of a bench where one person sits (art. 1, through the Regeling voertuigen). While taking part in traffic driver and passengers sit on the seats meant for them (art. 58a), and on seats with belts no more passengers travel than there are belts (art. 59).
