rear fog lamp

A bright red lamp at the rear. It may be used only in fog or snowfall that limits visibility to less than 50 metres (art. 34(2)). Rain does not count, however hard it pours. In better visibility it dazzles the driver behind you and must be switched off; the front fog lamp, by contrast, is allowed in fog, snowfall and rain that seriously impairs visibility (art. 34(1)).
