mv. verkeersmaatregelen

Translation

traffic measure

An intervention in traffic on a stretch of road: a closure, a narrowing, a changed direction of travel or a temporary arrangement. Sign L10 is the advance indication of such a measure for the direction shown, and sign K9 sets out the diversion that goes with it. The measure itself comes from the competent authority, which under art. 87 may also grant exemption. What stands on the spot decides: road signs prevail over traffic rules in so far as those rules are irreconcilable with them (art. 63).
