All motorised vehicles except mopeds, pedal-assist bicycles and disability vehicles, intended to be driven otherwise than on rails (art. 1). Note the difference from motorrijtuig, the wider statutory term that does include the moped. A rule written «for motor vehicles» therefore does not automatically cover a moped.
