LPG tank
The pressure vessel holding liquid gas in an LPG car. Chapter 5 sets placement requirements: the LPG tank may not be placed in the engine compartment, and for cars first used after 31 March 1979 further requirements apply to its mounting and shielding (art. 5.2.10). Filling may take place only from outside the vehicle, through the filling connection. At tunnels and ferries a gas installation can bring extra restrictions.
