de gelede bus
ghe-LAY-de busIPA [ɣəˈleːdə bʏs]
mv. gelede bussen
Translation
articulated bus
A bus consisting of two or more rigid sections connected by a joint, where passengers can move freely from one section to the other and the sections can be separated only in a workshop (art. 1.1 Regeling voertuigen). Because the sections are permanently joined this is one bus, not a combination. On the road that means the rear section swings out widely when turning, so do not ride alongside it.
How it sounds in the exam
