Translation
scheduled service bus
A motor vehicle running public transport within the meaning of the Wet personenvervoer 2000 (art. 1). Not every bus is a lijnbus: a coach is an autobus without a scheduled service. A bus lane or strip marked «LIJNBUS» may be used only by the lijnbus and the tram (art. 81); the same word in a lane signal means the same (art. 73).
