Translation

bicycle carrier

A load carrier for bicycles at the rear or on the roof. When carried at the rear the carrier must be properly fixed to the vehicle and, with the bicycles, may not project more than 0.20 m beyond the sides. If it screens the lighting, the carrier itself must bear two red rear lights, two red brake lights, two red reflectors and two amber indicators, no more than 0.50 m from the widest point; if it screens the number plate, a second plate with the same registration belongs on it (Regeling voertuigen, art. 5.18.7).
