The figure on an advance signpost saying how many kilometres remain to the exit or the named destination. Annex 1 names the distance indication expressly as part of sign K2: advance signpost along the motorway for the leaving direction, with distance indication, exit number, intercity destinations and a reference to an airfield or airport. The distance is meant for changing lane in time, not for speeding up.
