het voorrangsbord

mv. voorrangsborden
Translation
priority sign
A sign from chapter B of annex 1, which is called Priority. Signs B1 and B2 mark the start and end of a priority road, sign B3 a priority junction, and signs B4 and B5 the same with the side road on the left or right; sign B6 orders you to give way and sign B7 to stop first and then give way. Such signs override the ordinary rule that drivers from the right go first, since road signs prevail over traffic rules in so far as those are irreconcilable (art. 63). On the road surface they come with shark teeth, and with sign B7 a stop line; those markings say the same thing and so do not contradict them.
