Translation
prohibitory sign
A round sign with a red border, mostly from chapter C of annex 1: closure, no entry, one-way street. It forbids something. Do not confuse it with the blue mandatory sign: red on white forbids, blue on white prescribes. Art. 62 applies here too — obedience is compulsory, and a plate may narrow the ban to certain hours or vehicles.
