The maximum permitted mass a tyre can carry (art. 1.1 Regeling voertuigen). Every tyre therefore has its own limit, separate from what the car may weigh. If you fit tyres with too low a load capacity the vehicle is not compliant, even if you stay under the car’s permitted maximum mass.
