J37

Hazard; the nature is stated on the panel

What it means

There is a hazard, but which one is not on the sign itself — you read that on the panel beneath.

What it requires of you

A warning sign prohibits nothing and lowers no speed limit. It only says: adapt your speed to what you may expect here — and art. 19 remains the measure.

Where it stands

Outside built-up areas about 150 metres before the hazard, inside them closer.

How far it applies

Applies to the hazard it warns of; a panel may state the length.

Who it applies to

bestuurder
