What it means

Strong side wind, often on bridges and open plains.

What it requires of you

A warning sign prohibits nothing and lowers no speed limit. It only says: adapt your speed to what you may expect here — and art. 19 remains the measure.

Where it stands

Outside built-up areas about 150 metres before the hazard, inside them closer.

Applies to the hazard it warns of; a panel may state the length.
