Level crossing, two or more tracks

What it means

Several tracks cross the road; after the first train a second may follow.

What it requires of you

A warning sign prohibits nothing and lowers no speed limit. It only says: adapt your speed to what you may expect here — and art. 19 remains the measure.

Where it stands

At the level crossing itself, where the tracks cross the road — not at a distance before it.

How far it applies

Applies to the hazard it warns of; a panel may state the length.

Who it applies to

bestuurder

Do not confuse it with

  • J12

J13 is a double St Andrew's cross (two or more tracks); J12 is a single cross (one track).
