Optional cycle path
What it means
A path cyclists may use but need not. They may therefore also stay on the carriageway.
What it requires of you
The shape carries the whole meaning here: a round blue sign with a bicycle commands, a rectangular blue sign with the word «fietspad» leaves free. Mopeds may not use it.
