What it means

From this sign the motorway begins. Its own speed regime applies and the road is closed to vehicles that cannot go fast enough.

What it requires of you

By law 130 km/h applies here, but almost the whole network is signed 100 during the day — and the sign overrides the default. Stopping is allowed only in emergencies, on the hard shoulder.
