Rush-hour lane open
What it means
The hard shoulder is designated as a driving lane: the rush-hour lane is open and you may use it.
What it requires of you
Without this sign the strip is an ordinary hard shoulder and you may not drive on it; the sign designates the hard shoulder as a driving lane.
Where it stands
Above or beside the rush-hour lane while it is open.
How far it applies
Applies until sign C23-03 (end of the rush-hour lane).
