de tramhalte
TREM-hal-teIPA [ˈtrɛmhɑltə]
mv. tramhaltes
Translation
tram stop
A place where a tram halts to let passengers get on and off; sign L3 marks the bus stop and the tram stop together. Where there is no refuge island the passengers step straight onto the carriageway, and passing along the boarding side is then the danger. Sign F15 and sign F17 mark the lane or strip meant for trams; other traffic does not belong on such a lane. The priority rule for a tram stands apart from the stop and follows from art. 15 lid 2 and tram priority.
